Otterly.AI is a low-cost AI search monitor: $29 a month for 15 prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, with Gemini, AI Mode and Claude sold as add-ons. The best Otterly.AI alternatives are HubSpot AEO for 25 prompts at $50, Peec AI and Trakkr for more prompts and engines, and Ahrefs or Semrush if you already use them.
We read each vendor's own site on 31 October 2026 and link every fact to its source. Otterly.AI is a good place to start, so we begin with its strengths. Then we cover the limits that make teams compare, seven alternatives, and where Rank Monthly fits as a different approach.

Source: Otterly.AI pricing. Annual add-on prices: AI Mode and Gemini $93, $610 and $1,540 a year; Claude $300, $1,100 and $4,400 a year. Add-on packages cover up to 1,000 prompts.
The add-ons decide the real price. Lite with all three add-ons is $29 + $9 + $9 + $29 = $76 a month for 15 prompts on seven engines. Otterly.AI offers a free trial for new users; the page does not state its length. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time.
Why do people look for Otterly.AI alternatives?
Usually because they grow out of Lite, or because the add-ons change the price. On the pricing page we read on 31 October 2026:
15 prompts on Lite, and extra prompts can't be added there. The +100 prompt pack ($99 a month) is for Standard and Premium only.
Gemini and Google AI Mode cost extra: $9 a month each on Lite, $59 on Standard, $149 on Premium.
Claude costs extra too: $29 a month on Lite, $109 on Standard and $439 on Premium. Its homepage labels Claude as API-based.
Lite has 3 recommendations a week, 1 workspace and no API or MCP access.
Annual billing lowers the plan prices to $25, $160 and $422 a month, but the add-on engines still come on top.
A worked example from those prices: Standard with Gemini, AI Mode and Claude is $189 + $59 + $59 + $109 = $416 a month for 100 prompts on seven engines.

Sources, all read 31 October 2026: Otterly.AI, HubSpot, Peec AI, Trakkr, Rankscale, Knowatoa, Ahrefs, Semrush. Knowatoa's page doesn't clearly map engines to plans; its table shows ChatGPT, AI Overviews and AI Mode in one column and "All 7 services" in the others. Semrush showed us prices in euros.
HubSpot AEO: more prompts for $21 more
HubSpot AEO tracks 25 prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity for $50 a month ($45 billed annually), with no other HubSpot plan needed. It shows a visibility score, sentiment from -100 to +100, competitor share of voice and cited domains and pages. It suggests blog posts, page updates, LinkedIn posts and third-party outreach. It is labeled beta, and it is included in Marketing Hub Pro and Enterprise (HubSpot AEO). There is also a free one-time AI Search Grader.
Peec AI: Gemini and AI Mode in the base price
Peec AI Starter is $95 a month for 50 prompts and lets you pick 3 active models from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, with no add-on fees listed. Its docs say it uses UI scraping (Peec docs). Claude is Enterprise only and Perplexity costs extra, while Otterly.AI includes Perplexity and sells Claude as an add-on (Peec pricing). See Peec AI alternatives.
Trakkr: every engine, one price
Trakkr checks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI daily on every paid plan, and says there are no per-model fees. Growth is $100 a month ($83 yearly) for 50 prompts. Compared with the Otterly.AI example above, that is fewer prompts but all eight models for about a quarter of the price (Trakkr pricing). Growth includes 3 seats; Otterly.AI has unlimited.
Rankscale: the lowest entry and your own cadence
Rankscale Essentials is $17 a month billed yearly, Pro $99 a month ($84 yearly). It sells credits (typically 0.25 per engine per prompt), lists 17+ engines on every plan and lets you set cadence from hourly to monthly. Essentials has no sentiment or team workspaces (Rankscale pricing).
Knowatoa: a weekly view
Knowatoa costs $59 a month on Starter and $199 on Growth, with a free trial. Questions are shared across all sites on an account, and a weekly digest shows what changed. Its features include competitor gaps, citations and sentiment alerts (Knowatoa pricing).
Ahrefs Brand Radar or Semrush: if you already pay for one
Ahrefs includes prompt tracking free on paid Ahrefs plans. Custom prompts start at $50 a month, and its AI Visibility Index ($199 a month) draws on more than 519 million prompts built from keyword data (Ahrefs Brand Radar). Semrush's AI Visibility Base plan was shown at €94.94 a month per domain, billed annually, for 25 prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity (Semrush).
Where is Otterly.AI still the better choice?
Lowest monthly price with Perplexity and Copilot included and no annual commitment.
Unlimited seats on every plan. Trakkr Growth includes 3 seats, and Semrush charges for extra users.
GEO URL audits and content briefs alongside tracking.
Agencies: Otterly.AI's agency partner status raises prompts to 150 on Standard and 500 on Premium.
No, it does a different job. Otterly.AI tells you which links AI answers reference. Rank Monthly works on one kind of those links: it books businesses into the listicles, newsletters and LinkedIn creator posts that buyers read and AI assistants quote, and keeps them there.
Trackers and placement services already work together. Noble, a placement service, quotes Otterly's CEO on its site saying the two made a partnership official. That shows the gap a tracker finds is often on a third-party page.
One Rank Monthly ledger shows every placement, page visit, click and AI mention, month by month, with what was paid. It is not a prompt tracker.
Brands pay monthly only while a spot is live, or once for a new post. Payment is held until the placement is verified live.
It is new: no customer results to show yet, only publishers who joined, and pricing on request.
Google and the assistants decide what they show. Nobody can promise an AI mention.
On 31 October 2026 Otterly.AI listed Lite at $29 a month for 15 prompts, Standard at $189 for 100 and Premium at $489 for 400, with Enterprise from 1,000 prompts. Billed annually, the plans cost $25, $160 and $422 a month.
Does Otterly.AI track Gemini and Claude?
Yes, as paid add-ons. Gemini and Google AI Mode cost $9, $59 or $149 a month each depending on the plan, and Claude costs $29, $109 or $439 a month. ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot are included.
What is a cheap alternative to Otterly.AI?
Rankscale Essentials is $17 a month billed yearly. HubSpot AEO is $50 a month for 25 prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. If you already pay for Ahrefs, its prompt tracking is free on paid plans.
Which Otterly.AI alternative includes Claude without an add-on?
Trakkr includes Claude in the eight models it checks daily on every paid plan, from $100 a month. AthenaHQ Starter also includes Claude, at a higher price. Scrunch keeps Claude for its custom Enterprise plan.
Can Rank Monthly replace Otterly.AI?
No. Rank Monthly is not a tracker. It books businesses into listicles, newsletters and LinkedIn posts that AI assistants quote, and reports AI mentions in its ledger. A tracker and a placement route do different jobs.
Is Otterly.AI cheaper if you pay annually?
Yes. On 1 November 2026 Otterly.AI's pricing page showed Lite at $25 a month, Standard at $160 and Premium at $422 when billed annually, against $29, $189 and $489 on monthly billing. Add-on engines such as Gemini, AI Mode and Claude are priced separately on every plan.
